Teaching About Sustainable Seafood

Giving Back to the Community

Sustainable seafood practices help ensure the longevity of our marine ecosystems and the overall well-being of our oceans. As a leading South Florida seafood supplier, it is our mission to educate our local community about sustainable seafood best practices to ensure fish populations remain abundant for generations to come. This mission starts with our youth. We proudly provide tours of our processing facility to local youth organizations such as Martin County 4H and the Martin County YMCA. Contact us today to discuss how we can partner together for this important mission.

“I cannot express my gratitude for the welcome and educational experience we had! Our students were in awe at the operation and really gained insight into how much is involved in bringing fresh seafood to the wholesale and retail market! You all do an amazing job!

“I just wanted to say Thank You on behalf of myself, Ellie’s and the kids at YMCA Cooking Camp over the summer for letting us come and tour New England’s new plant! The kids had a blast and learned so much and really got a kick out of being able to be hands-on. I know it took time and effort on you and your staff’s part to organize and allow this to happen, so thank you! We truly appreciate your efforts.”

“Thank you for such a detailed tour and giving back. Our kids had so much fun and talked about the visit for the rest of the day. Thank you for also creating wonderful goodie bags for them. I am so grateful for people like you in our community who want to help educate our youth. Your staff was amazing too! The kids fed off of their knowledge and enthusiasm. We had a great time!”
